Son principe de fonctionnement repose sur la rotation de la vis pour plastifier, m\u00e9langer et extruder progressivement des mat\u00e9riaux solides (tels que des particules ou des poudres de polym\u00e8res). La vis est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement divis\u00e9e en trois sections :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Section de transport : Le mat\u00e9riau est pouss\u00e9 vers l'avant et pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9 sous la forme d'un \u201cbouchon solide\u201d, en s'appuyant sur la friction et la compression m\u00e9canique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Section de compression : Le volume de la rainure de la vis diminue progressivement et le mat\u00e9riau est fondu et plastifi\u00e9 par la chaleur de cisaillement et le chauffage externe.
